Shown above is a panoramic view of the square where the Festival took place. I'd just processed through this lot with the Union Jack flag, which was a very proud moment for me. Even now, looking at all of the people assembled, via cobbled together pictures, it still takes my breath away. Figures indicate that 175,000 people took Holy Communion, but the total for the crowd is belived to be around 500,000. This was where I stood for a good 2 and a half hours on the steps of the Colonnade.
